In the long run it's more likely to continue to work as there would be more code shared I guess. Also it makes it possible to block some bits of javascript but not others I guess. 2 websites prevent this. And it's nice to be able to copy and paste an address to wget it or just browse it with w3m or the like. On the chat room, it seems that 1) obtain consensus indeed, so let's go for it :) Le lundi 8 décembre 2014, 22:25:04 robotux at celest.fr a écrit : > Le 2014-11-28 15:04, Goffi a écrit : > > english below > > > > we are wondering what to do about static blog on libervia (like on > > http://www.libervia.org/blog/goffi ), and we'd like your opinion on > > the 2 options: > > > > 1) we put some javascript, but nothing mandatory, to manage buttons, > > comments, this kind of things > > This one is better IMHO. A new desktop frontend will probably come for 0.7: either one based on Kivy, or the update of BellaCiao (Qt). WxWidget will not be a dependance anymore in future versions of SàT. Goffi -- G'day, one of the 2 XEPs we have submitted was published: http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0355.html (warning it's experimental for now, so it can and will probably change a lot, and even be retired if something better come). It's our first published XEP :'o) There was a hot debated for the other on the standard mailing list, and I have submitted a new version yesterday in the afternoon, we'll see what happen but I think it should be alright this time. The 2 XEPs will allow tu use our own PubSub/PEP external service in a standard and generic way with other servers, in other words we'll no be blocked anymore by servers implementations for everything about microblogging and similiar things.
